When do the performances begin each night?
Sunday through Thursday, music starts at 9:30PM.
Friday, there is an acoustic set that runs from 5:30-8:00PM. The opening band starts at 9:00PM and the headliner begins at 10:30PM.
Saturday, there is an acoustic set that runs from 6:00-8:30PM. The opening band starts at 9:30PM and the headliner begins at 11:00PM.

Do I have to buy tickets to attend live shows?
You can purchase tickets for shows online through eTix.  Purchasing tickets in advance does not guarantee seating.

How much is the cover charge?
$10 Sunday-Thursday;
$15 Friday-Saturday;
Prices are subject to change.

When does Buddy play at the club?
Buddy performs in the club every January. We will be announcing the 2010 dates during the second week of November. Tickets will go on sale November 28th.

Can I take pictures or use a video camera during performances?
Photographs are permitted but audio and video recording is strictly prohibited.

I am under 21. Can I come to Legends for the main show?
After 8:00PM, you must be over 21. However, Monday through Friday, we have free lunch-time acoustic performances for all ages between noon and 2:00PM. We also have free acoustic acts for all ages on Fridays from 5:30pm-8:00PM and on Saturdays from 6:00-8:00PM.  If you are over 21, please make sure you have a valid photo ID (such as a driver’s license, passport, etc); Legends reserves the right to deny entry to anyone without proper photo ID.

Can my son/daughter accompany me to Legends for performances after 8:00PM if they are not 21?
After 8:00PM, everyone must be over 21. However, Monday through Friday, we have free lunch-time acoustic performances for all ages between noon and 2:00PM. We also have free acoustic acts for all ages on Fridays from 5:30pm-8:00PM and on Saturdays from 6:00-8:00PM.

Is Legends open for lunch?
We are open for lunch Monday through Friday beginning at 11:00AM.

How late is the kitchen open?
The kitchen is open until midnight every night.

Do you have live music in the afternoon as well as in the evening?
We have free performances from noon until 2:00PM Monday through Friday.

Can I reserve a table for performances?
Legends does not accept reservations. All seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Does Legends have a coat check?
Legends does not offer coat check.

Is parking available?
There are three reasonably-priced lots located on 8th Street between Wabash Avenue and State Street. There is also meter parking in the surrounding areas.

How can I purchase Legends merchandise?
There is a merchandise booth located next to the entrance.  If you would like to order merchandise over the phone, we can ship merchandise to your location; please call 312-427-1190. Shipping fees apply.

I have a band and we are interested in playing at Legends. Who do I contact?
As a Blues club, Legends only books Blues artists. If you are interested in performing on our stage, please contact Brian Fadden at bdfadden@aol.com.  We also have weekly Monday night jams at 9:30PM; if you plan on attending, you must bring your own instrument.

How do I book Legends for my event?
You and can fill out a request for proposal by clicking here, or you can email our Special Events Coordinator, Isabelle Libmann, at isabelle@bglegends.com.

Are there any hotels close to Legends?
Legends is located behind the Hilton Chicago Hotel. Other hotels in the area include The Essex Inn, The Blackstone, Travelodge, and The Best Western Grant Park.

Is Legends handicap-accessible?

Yes.

Does Buddy Guy hang out at Legends?
If Buddy is in town, he can normally be spotted at the bar.

When is Legends moving to its new location?
Sometime in 2010, Legends will be moving up the street to 700 S. Wabash.  For more information, click here.
